Hi Alicia
I’m getting in touch to see if Lisa Doyle Is Absolutely Fine by Stourbridge-born author Mo Fanning might be of interest to Stourbridge News.
It’s a contemporary romantic comedy about a woman who, after one bad decision and too much wine, announces she’s engaged to a fiancé who doesn’t exist. Under the humour, it looks at pressure, friendship, loneliness, and the gap between how life appears and how it feels.
The book is published on 18 June and may suit readers interested in smart, accessible fiction with a UK voice. Obviously there’s a local angle around Mo, who’s writing the lead comment article for the national booktrade magazine The Bookseller in May and taking part in the Nottingham Queer the Shelves festival later in June.
I have attached a press release and, if useful, I’d be glad to send a fuller summary, author information, or press materials, or arrange an interview closer to publication?
Many thanks,
Adrian
