I’m Mo Fanning, author of Lisa Doyle Is Absolutely Fine, which is out on 18 June. It’s s a Manchester-set romantic comedy about a woman who drunkenly invents a fiancé after her best friend gets engaged, then has to keep the lie alive. It’s for readers who like Marian Keyes, Mhairi McFarlane and Beth O’Leary, but with a slightly sharper, much, much messier edge.
